Collaboration brings VAT efficiency to Care Operators
With the aim of collaborating to restructure welfare services allowing care operators to improve their trading position by being VAT efficient, Liaison Financial have entered into a collaboration agreement with care sector VAT specialists, Kieran Lynch & Co (Care) Limited.
Over the past 12 years, Kieran Lynch with Kingscrest care operator claims have returned around £60million in net benefits to the care sector, whilst facilitating these claims with the local authorities and HMRC.
Working with Liaison Financial, who will support CCGs in reviewing this restructuring in the NHS, Kieran Lynch will look to achieve similar outcomes for care operators. With the pressures that care providers have been under throughout the pandemic, the time is right to look at the possibilities of improving VAT efficiency in the NHS for care providers, whilst continuing to allow for the best quality patient care.
Jock Waugh, Managing Director of Kieran Lynch: “We are delighted to be working in collaboration with the largest VAT specialist in the NHS. Our focus has always been to work with clients to improve their VAT positions without impacting on their primary purpose of providing care. Operating to a simple brief of improving care provider viability, we are focused on the issues involved in these niche areas of VAT and welcome working with Liaison Financial and their NHS client base.”
Alison Jones, Managing Director of Liaison Financial: “We are excited to explore how a collaboration with Kieran Lynch and their knowledge on care sector VAT can work alongside our expertise in NHS VAT. We anticipate that this will be an exciting prospect for CCGs and their finance teams, and have great benefits for care providers.”
